Wine + Art = "Pours" by artist Kim Klabe
"Pours" are pieces of art made by pouring wine on watercolor paper, letting it dry, seeing what shapes appear, then transforming the poured wine into people, animals, or just about anything. "Sometimes, I have no direction for what I expect the final piece to look like, and discover as I go," says artist, Kim Klabe. Colored pencils and/or markers are used to create the unique art. Titles of the "Pours" are taken exclusively from current events ( whether world-wide or personal events) and help to stamp a place and time on the piece.
Demonstrations and finished pieces available for purchase. Commissioned pieces are encouraged.
